The Troy Acres family story

In the heart of Amish Country, Jacob N. Petersheim built Troy Acres into a welcoming roadside shop filled with traditional handcrafted goods - from handwoven baskets and wooden cutting boards to homemade soaps, jams, jellies and hand-painted home accessories. His business reflected a love of craftsmanship and the warmth of the surrounding community.

After Jacob's passing in 2022, his daughter Anna stepped forward to carry that family legacy on. Having grown up around her father's shop, she continues to welcome visitors and honor the traditions that made Troy Acres special. Choosing a piece from Troy Acres connects your home with a family business that values authentic craftsmanship, local history and rural charm.
